Flavored Teas |
- |
While tea is oxidizing (becoming a black
tea), it acts very much like a sponge. It acquires the
smells and flavors that it is exposed to at that time.
Flavored teas are very popular and are very affordable in
today's market. They have long been enjoyed for their
varieties in flavor, aroma and complexity. Many tea lovers
have a shelf of fine teas to suit every occasion and mood,
just like wine lovers keep a rack of their favorite wines on
hand. We invite you to discover the world of teas, and see
the wide selection of flavored teas we have. |
Green Teas |
- |
Green tea is steamed immediately after
picking. This softens the leaves for rolling and keeps the
juices from oxidizing. The leaves are then rolled and dried.
Since they did not go through the oxidation stage these
leaves remain green after firing. To read more, click

Oolong Teas |
- |
Oolong tea is prepared in a manner similar to
that of black tea however, it is only partially oxidized.
The partial oxidation and the particular variety of leaf
used give oolong tea its special flavor. To read more, click

China Black
Teas |
- |
Black tea is prepared by evaporating the
moisture from the leaves. The leaves are then rolled,
sieved, fermented (or oxidized) and dried (or fired).
It is this firing that turns the leaves black. click

Estate Teas |
- |
Teas grown in India and Sri Lanka can be
identified by the estate or farm on which they are
grown. Most estates are owned by individuals or private
companies. Many are justly famous for the high quality
teas they produce. |
Specialty Teas |
- |
We carefully blend small quantities of
special teas to ensure quality and freshness. Some of
these teas are flavored, while others are unflavored
blends. In all cases utmost care is taken to ensure
that the resulting products will meet or exceed
expectations. |
Herb,
Fruit &
Rooibos |
- |
After a long, stressful day, an herbal tea is
sure to delight. Because most contain little or no caffeine,
herbals or tisanes are also ideal for those who wish to
limit their caffeine intake or want
to unwind with a less stimulating cup in the evening.
Fruit-flavored teas offer a variation from traditional teas.
All teas in this category have a standard black tea base
that is then accented with the addition of fruit pieces,
natural flavor oils, or flower blossoms. The result is a
beverage that is enjoyable hot or iced.

Decaffeinated
Teas |
- |
Decaffeinated teas are ideal for those who
want a relaxing drink without the kick of caffeine.
The addition of flavorings to decaffeinated teas provide
those who want to limit their caffeine intake with
interesting alternatives. |
White Teas |
- |
The rarest of all teas, hand-plucked white
tea takes on a subtle yet complex flavor from elegant leaves and
silver buds. White teas undergo the least processing of any
of type of tea; young leaves are dried to remove all
moisture but preserve the delicate young leaves. Lighter in body
than greens, a white tea yields a refined infusion that is
naturally sweet. |
